If anyone can offer any help that would be wonderful.īasically all sources I've found seem to say that DRI_PRIME=1 is supposed to use the dedicated GPU on a hybrid graphics setting (which I suppose my desktop PC falls into, as I have a discrete GPU and haven't turned off the iGPU in my Intel processor). Windows 11 still works perfectly (had a dual boot) so atm im sticking to that. I checked my BIOS settings, and in last modified, and nothing changed since March.Īt this point im at my wits end. So, I tried Endeavour, including with different settings, and it still never worked, dtill booting past GRUB into a back screen, however it did show this just before the black screen: I tried another ISO, tried different setting me in Rufus including both DD and the other one, MBR and GPT, etc. I installed void linux into a usb drive, and booting into it got me past GRUB and into another black screen. ![]() I successfully booted into bash, but my keyboard didnt work, and neither did another, so I gave up. Everything was perfectly fine until suddenly, my screen froze yet I still had audio.Īfter a while, I restart, and from there it would boot past GRUB and then only show me a black screen. I was running Arch Linux, using the Zen kernel.
